Home Office Prayer Vigil - September 2024

This month's Home Office Prayer Vigil takes place on Monday, 16 September, at 12.30pm, outside the Home Office building in Marsham Street, SW1.

As Home Office staff - whose job it is to decide the future of those who apply for asylum in this country - come in and out of the building, participants will pray for them, for all migrants and refugees who tried or are trying to reach a place of safety in Europe and all those trying to help them.

There will be a list read out of named and unnamed individuals and groups of people who have died in the last month, trying to make the dangerous sea crossing to Europe.

There will also be prayers for victims of current wars; those in detention; those who are homeless.

All are welcome to join the vigil.
