Vincentian Values Week
The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul Services host their annual Vincentian Values Week from 23 - 27 September 2024.
This year's event will focus on the issues highlighted in their 2024 Vincentian Family Manifesto: Refugees and Asylum Seekers, Homelessness, Child and Family Poverty, Inclusion and Care.
The Sisters say: "We are delighted to be joined by a range of wonderful speakers from across the sector, each of whom bring their own personal experience of supporting vulnerable people and communities."
Monday 23 September 10-11am: Speaker - Victoria Firth, Jesuit Refugee Services - Supporting people seeking asylum
Tuesday 24 September 10-11am: Speaker - Alexia Murphy, Depaul UK - Ending homelessness
Wednesday 25 September 10-11am: Speaker - tbc - Tackling child and family poverty
Thursday 26 September 10-11am: Speaker - Patrick O'Dowd, Caritas Salford - Improving inclusion and reducing isolation
Friday 27 September 10-11am: Speaker - Mark Corea - Daughters of Charity Services - Ensuring dignity in care
