Catholic Institute for Nonviolence to be inaugurated in Rome
Source: Pax Christi International
The Catholic Institute for Nonviolence will be inaugurated in Rome this Sunday, September 29th, at 4pm CET.
In light of the ongoing wars and violence around the globe, the Institute aims to make research, experiences, and resources on nonviolence more accessible to Church leaders and communities, deepening our understanding and commitment to Gospel nonviolence.
At 5.30pm CET, join us as we honour the Parents Circle Families Forum (PCFF), the recipient of the 2023 Pax Christi International Peace Award.
PCFF is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organisation of families who have lost relatives to the ongoing conflict and are dedicated to fostering peace and reconciliation. This award recognises their commitment to dialogue and nonviolent solutions, with the hope that their work will stand as a beacon of peace in the Holy Land.
