From Plymouth, to Cardiff, Liverpool to Orkney - more than 28 peace vigils and marches for Palestine will be taking place in towns and cities across the UK this weekend 19-20 October, to demand that Britain ends its complicity in Israel's genocide in Gaza, attacks on the West Bank and its bombing and ground invasion of Lebanon.

In Gaza more than 40,000 people , 16,000 of them children, are known to have been killed. Many thousands more are missing and huge numbers of people are suffering life-changing injuries. Most of the population has been displaced several times and are living in tents or UN shelters. Most homes, schools and hospitals have been destroyed. Israel has cut off electricity and water to most of the territory and there is a desperate shortage of food and medicine. Now Israel has invaded Lebanon, the civilian population there is starting to suffer the same fate as Gaza. In the meantime on the West Bank over 80 % of the population have no source of income as they are no longer allowed to work in Israel and foreign pilgrims have stopped coming. At the same time rampaging illegal Israeli settlers are stealing more and more land, evicting Palestinians from their homes.

There is now the threat of a wider war if Israel attacks Iran.

The list of demonstrations is growing all the time. Check our Listings page for updates. These are the ones we have been sent so far.
