Ask your MP to attend the parliamentary debate on Israel/Palestine

As a matter of urgency, Christian campaigners have forwarded this request from ICAHD.UK: Please write to your MP to request that they attend the parliamentary debate on Israel/Palestine scheduled for 16.30 on Monday, 16th December and demand that the UK uphold international law by immediately calling Israel to account.

There is mounting evidence of Israel's gross violations of international law. Concerning genocide, please refer your MP to Amnesty International's report 'You Feel Like You Are Subhuman': Israel's Genocide Against Palestinians in Gaza that was released on 5th December 2024. It follows the decision by International Court of Justice (ICJ) in January that Israel is committing plausible genocide.

On 19th July 2024, the ICJ passed an advisory opinion stating that Israel's occupation is unlawful as are its apartheid policies implemented over the Palestine people. Israel's apartheid policies have also been identified in reports by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and others.

The UK government defends Israel and continues our arms trade with it.

Ask your MP to insist that the UK government acknowledges Israel's genocidal and apartheid policies and as a first immediate step that there is a total suspension of UK arms sales to Israel.

Without doing so, our government demonstrates that it is complicit in Israel's war crimes.
