Join Jubilee of Communicators pilgrims with Hozana prayer app
Just two weeks after the solemn opening of the Jubilee 2025 on Christmas Eve, already more than half a million pilgrims from all over the world have passed through the Holy Door of St Peter's Basilica. And with the Holy Door of the Roman Basilica of St Paul's Outside the Walls open from 5 January, the Holy Doors of all the Roman papal basilicas - St Paul's, St Peter's, St John Lateran's, and St Mary Major's - are now open for pilgrims of hope from all over the world.
Pope Francis explained that the Jubilee is an opportunity for personal and communal renewal, a deep, personal journey towards healing and renewal. "To experience a Jubilee properly, it must come from within...it is a moment of forgiveness, joy, reconstitution of so many personal and social things".
To facilitate this renewal, especially for those unable to travel to Rome and its basilicas, throughout the Jubilee year the Catholic prayer App Hozana is offering a series of retreats and reflections linked to some of the special Jubilee events taking place in Rome, so that you can participate in a spirit of prayer and renewal.
The first series of reflections on Hozana are scheduled for the first Jubilee event of 2025, the Jubilee of Communicators, which takes place in Rome 24-26 January.
Each day from 23 - 26 January to coincide with the Jubilee event in Rome a series of reflections and questions written by Catholic communicators and journalists will be posted to help us participate with the pilgrims of hope gathered in Rome.
