London: Requiem for those who had none

From the 14th to 19th centuries, thousands of people all over Europe were sentenced to death for being in queer relationships. A Requiem For Those Who Had None, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street, Mayfair, this Saturday at 7.30pm, will commemorate their lives, and help to ensure they are not forgotten.
The Fourth Choir dedicates this concert to telling their stories. The Fourth Choir is London's LGBTQ+ chamber choir. We focus on performing great choral works from early music to contemporary choral masterpieces. The choir was formed in September 2013, and our aim from the outset has been to represent the LGBT + community on London's world-class classical music scene. Programme
Conducted by Jamie Powe, the programme includes: Ne Derelinquas Me, Dominique Phinot; Extracts from Lamentations, Alonso Lobo; Ego flos Campi, Clemens Non Papa; Surge Amica Mea, Raffaella Aleotti; Sappho: Eros Jamie Powe; Nigra Sum, Michael Bussewitz-Quarm; Song (I gaze upon you), Gabriel Jackson; Hear my prayer, Henry Purcell; Requiem, Herbert Howells; Let My Love Be Heard, Jake Runestad.
