New network for Catholic podcasters

The final synodal document encourages us to 'dedicate resources to ensure that the digital environment becomes a prophetic space for mission and proclamation.' (For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, Mission #113).

All Kinds of Catholic podcast creator Theresa Alessandro is convening a new Catholic Podcasters' Network. She explains: "I realised that it would be a good thing to create a space for those of us making podcasts for Catholic audiences. We can get to know each other and discuss developments in podcasting, with particular reference to our contribution to Catholic communities and the church. I hope the network will become a place for cultural and technical knowledge sharing, friendly support and perhaps even collaboration."

Two discussion questions are already planned for the first meeting: What are the pros and cons of using video vs audio-only, for our audiences? Is Artificial Intelligence a help or a hindrance in communicating Catholic culture?
