A call to solidarity, prayer and fasting for the children of Gaza

This Friday, 11 March, Pax Christ members and supporters will be gathering to fast and pray opposite Downing Street, in remembrance of the murdered children of Gaza, and in solidarity with Nobel Peace Laureate Mairead Corrigan Maguire, 80, who is currently on a 40 day fast.

"I just am absolutely shocked by what is happening in Gaza since the war and the policies of the Israeli government are totally against international law and inhumane," Mairead said.

"I wanted to join in a sense in solidarity by fasting for 40 days and saying that this has got to stop and it can't be stopped by governments changing their policies."
