Radio Maria England is proud to announce the launch of a new 'Listen Again' service, making it the first Radio Maria station in the world to offer this feature.

The initiative has been a 'work-in-progress' for over a year, in collaboration with website and audio experts from the World Family of Radio Maria in the USA. It was launched on Monday, 28 April.

Following its successful implementation, the service will be rolled out to other Radio Maria stations worldwide throughout the year.

The 'Listen Again' service allows listeners to revisit their favourite programmes at their convenience, ensuring that no one misses out on the uplifting and spiritually-enriching content that Radio Maria England provides.

Whether it's inspiring homilies, thought-provoking discussions, or soul-stirring music, listeners can now access past broadcasts at any time, from anywhere in the world.

The service will be available for seven days from the time of the live broadcast, ensuring that content remains fresh and relevant.

Live radio remains an essential medium for good health and well-being, offering companionship, comfort, and encouragement in real-time. Studies have shown that tuning into live broadcasts fosters a sense of belonging, reduces feelings of loneliness, and provides a structured, engaging routine. With the addition of 'Listen Again,' Radio Maria in England continues to support and uplift its listeners by combining the best aspects of live and on-demand radio.

Operations Manager, Pierre Petrou, who led the initiative, said: "Radio Maria has always been about bringing the Word of God and Christian teachings to as many people as possible. While live radio is invaluable for fostering a sense of connection and community, the 'Listen Again' service ensures that our mission extends beyond time constraints. We are thrilled to be the first in the Radio Maria family to launch this, and we look forward to seeing this innovation benefit listeners across the globe."

Renzo Mazzotti, who created the facility with his team, added: "When Pierre first contacted me about this idea, he had a clear vision of how the 'Listen Again' service could benefit listeners by allowing them to reconnect with important broadcasts they may have missed. He outlined exactly how he wanted it designed and set up, ensuring it was accessible, efficient, and in line with Radio Maria's mission.

He added, "Bringing 'Listen Again' to Radio Maria in England has been an exciting journey. Our goal was to create a user-friendly and reliable system that allows listeners to engage with faith-based content at their convenience. We are delighted to see this service launch and look forward to implementing it across the global Radio Maria family."

The 'Listen Again' service is now available on the Radio Maria England website, making it easier than ever to stay connected to faith-filled content at any time. See: https://radiomariaengland.uk/live-recording/
